The idea was to create a task chair like athletic gear: Mirra, developed and designed for Herman Miller, is an ergonomic chair that encourages users to fine-tune its performance precisely to their needs and preferences. After the success of Mirra which entered the market in 2003, we had the chance to rethink and improve the concept, creating an even more radical version of the idea: Mirra 2.

Mirra is available with two different backrests: the TryFlex backrest consists of a flexible mat with the characteristic hole pattern, while the Butterfly backrest features a second layer of spacer fabric for a softer touch.
