Metaform Portfolio™ for Herman Miller is office equipment that addresses the ever changing needs of work teams. The self standing building blocks are extremely sturdy, but lightweight and allow for an intuitive approach to delineate space according to the needs of the moment. Teams are enabled to create their spaces without the need of tools, instruction manuals or facility managers.

This universal operating system is suited to support a wide variety of professions and work styles. In observing todays work styles across a wide range of professions we found that beside using universal tools like computers and laptops people are typically also surrounded by physical artifacts, which either are the content of their work, essential tools and instruments of their profession or an inspirational spacial texture for their memories.
