Our ambition was to create a zero gravity experience that allows you to fully focus on the mental task at hand without any distraction caused by discomfort. The “Flying Carpet” (stealth name of the project during development) is equipped with an automatic adjustment of the kinematics that creates a balanced experience without having to actively adjust anything. The idea of weightless support is even applied to the membrane arm rests.
The Cosm task chair familiy was developed and designed for Herman Miller.
